This oak counter has the last patent date of 1914 on the brass plaque and is thirteen feet long. It also has a serial number. The clerk's side has nine small drawers, six large drawers, and three tilting bins for bulk goods such as prunes or brown sugar. The front has twenty-one small display windows and six large display windows. The shallow windows on the front would have contained samples of products such as beans, grains, and candies which the store had for sale.
