Tulsi Tea
100% naturally grown
Organic Rama Holy Basil (Ocimum sanctum)
~Naturally Caffeine Free
Tulsi Tea is an extremely aromatic herbal tea that reminds me of a blend of anise, cinnamon, and cloves, but without the spicy bite. Adding a pinch of sugar brings out a sweet orange undertone. While difficult to describe, it is delightful to drink! A unique herb making it's way into American gardens, Holy Basil is widely known across South Asia as a medicinal plant and an herbal tea. It is cultivated for religious and medicinal purposes, and for it's essential oil. Tulsi Tea is rich in antioxidants and renowned for its restorative powers. Both flowers, leaves, and tender stems are harvested from the plant. Tulsi Tea has several benefits:
• Relieves stress / adaptogen
• Bolsters immunity
• Enhances stamina
• Provides support during cold season
• Promotes healthy metabolism
• A natural immuno-modulator

Garden grown, hand picked, dried and hand cut, ground or packed. No perfumes, flavorings, colors, oils, or preservatives are added. Our herbs are as pure as the moment they were picked.

All of our tea bags are made with unbleached tea filter paper. May be added to compost when done.

We do not use fancy packaging for our teas. They are packaged and sent in reclosable ziplock bags. You are paying for high quality herbs, and NOT expensive boxes or tins. Most of our customers store their teas in canisters before use.

The statements regarding the use and/or historical use of our naturally grown herbs have not been evaluated by the Food & Drug Administration. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Check with your physician, naturopath, homeopath or herbalist for answers to questions about your health & the use of herbs.
DIRECTIONS: Use 6 oz of water for each tea bag. Pour hot water over tea and steep for 5-8 minutes. Covering the cup with a saucer during steeping will retain the most nutrients. Never boil botanicals. Steep longer if desired, or reuse tea bag for a second cup. Sweeten to taste with honey or stevia if desired. Garnish with orange, lemon, or a stevia leaf.
