The design brief was to create a modern family home with a country design. A real country feel has been created with the barn doors and timber sarking ceilings. The existing home before renovating was brick so to create the modern look the existing and new bricks have been plastered over. Inside, the kitchen cabinetry and the storage baskets fit with the country theme. Soaking up the heat from the double sided gas fire in the cooler months creates a cosy and warm environment.
