美国大学对于学生的学术表现要求非常明确,一般来说,本科学生GPA低于2.0会收到学校的Warning（警告）处分,连续两学期GPA低于2.0则会收到学校的Dismissal（开除）处分；研究生要求更高,若GPA低于3.0则会受到处分。【telegram∶@SEP887】一支经验丰富的紧急应对团队,致力于协助遭遇美国大学开除的学生,给予最专业且最及时的帮助。 在美国留学时,第一次收到警告信是不会被开除的,但这时你要对自己的GPA有足够的警惕意识,假如连续两学期GPA都低于2.0的话,就会被学校开除甚至被迫离境。一般在收到开除通知时,你可以立即向学校发起申诉,争取学校的从轻处理。如果申诉失败,那就无法顺利毕业了,这时再想获取毕业证,就只能我们机构针对性的方案提高GPA。 大多数美国大学都有academic probation的规定,最好去学校官方网站上了解一下。一般一个学期GPA在2.0一下就会收到warning,连续2、3个学期或overall GPA依然很低的话就会面临probation。 美国大学一般都是要求最低gpa2.0,再低就会收到probation,这其实就是一个警告了,如果后面gpa提上去了,就没事,如果还是没提上去,就要面临开除了。 所以咱们在第一次收到probation之后,一定要足够重视,无论如何都把gpa提上去。当然为了保证gpa,能选水课还是要选水课,只要能计入gpa就行。一般你需要找advisor,TA会给你一些建议,不过advisor也不是万能的,很多时候他们提供的信息也不一定有用,最好还是要跟其他同学交流,再一个就是自己要去查。 但是如果你不幸再次gpa不合格,直接面临开除,那你第一紧要的事情就是先保住身份,因为开除后I20很快就会失效。当然如果你愿意就这样回国也就没必要保住身份了,但我想大多数人都不会这样选择。
