Quilt The Quiltmaker's Gift, a crib quilt 111420Q

The name of this quilt is The Quiltmakers Gift designed using two traditional quilt patterns, The New Four Patch and Flashing Windmills.

The size is 58.00" x 50.00". It is commonly called a sofa quilt, a lap quilt or a throw. This size quilt makes a fabulous crib quilt or drag around quilt for kids.

The fabrics are 100% cotton. The batting is Pellon Natural Cotton. The fabrics were not pre-washed and the item has not been washed.

The backing is a warm cozy flannel in a print called Quiltmakers Gift. It might seem like it's a Christmas print at first glance but It pretty much depicts all of the holidays. It has balloons, bunnies, Old King Cole, jeweled treasure chests, dolls. It's a toy room gone a-muck.

The quilting is a loop-tee-loop edge to edge meander stitch using dark red thread. The binding was sewn by machine using a decorative stitch

A set of matching pillowcases is available. Sold separately and called The Gift of the Quiltmaker. See detail by searching here on BuySell.

I am not a business. I am a long time sewer, crafter, quilter who can't sew much after breaking my wrist with the result being severe nerve damage. The quilts are unused, unwashed. They were made as a learning experience to teach myself how to make as many traditional quilt patterns as I could. I created the quilt pattern designs using traditional patterns in EQ5, 6 & 7. They have been stored in minimal light, folded on shelving in a smoke and pet free environment.
