Quilted Wall Hanging The Dancing Cranes 021209WH

The name of this quilted wall hanging is The Dancing Cranes designed using a printed fabric panel called Sukura. It's beautiful with two graceful white cranes as the focal point.

The size is 30" x 20". The fabrics are 100% cotton. The batting is 50% cotton 50% bamboo. The fabrics were not pre-washed and the item has not been washed.

The side of the wall hanging features a paper pieced design from Carol Doak. The Bird of Paradise pattern compliments the fabric panel. The fabric Dance of the Cranes anchors the bottom corner of the wall hanging.

The quilting uses rainbow thread in golds, yellows and browns in a loop tee loop edge to edge pattern.

The backing is cream colored with gold glitter and it has an attached hanging sleeve. The binding was sewn on bymachine with a decorative stitch.

I am not a business. I am a long time sewer, crafter, quilter who can't sew much after breaking my wrist with the result being severe nerve damage. The quilts are unused, unwashed. They were made as a learning experience to teach myself how to make as many traditional quilt patterns as I could. I created the quilt pattern designs using traditional patterns in EQ5, 6 & 7. They have been stored in minimal light, folded on shelving in a smoke and pet free environment.
