Selling the family Towle and Oneida flatware I don't need, hoping some people out there collect this stuff or need replacement pieces. Prices START at $2. No silver in any, so technically not 'silverware'. All of these are normal used condition, although the larger serving pieces have less wear due to less use. No bends, no abnormal damage. All will have numerous light scratches in the bowls/fronts, some random heavier ones (not deep), and more dense ones on the back due to stacking and use (including dull scuffed areas across the 'hump' usually). Very hard to get pics of that, but you can come and pick out the ones you want if you live close by, otherwise I'll pick out the best ones in my opinion. I'd prefer to sell them in at least even numbers (except the one-offs can go by themselves), or even better, the whole batch of either brand. Priced by research on 'that' auction site (huge swings of sold prices on many though, some I doubt were real sales, but trying to be at/lower than average, and there's no shipping cost if picking up in Sarasota County, FL), and mostly well under that replacements place. PLEASE BE SPECIFIC on what you want on your FIRST email, ok? Saves time and more emails.
Pics 1-3) Towle Colonial Plume pattern, satin handle finish (so NOT the silverplate version), discontinued in 1990. 18/8 stainless steel, all made in Germany. 57 pieces:
12 Dinner Knives, 9 1/4". 7 have a black flake dot or a few near or on the hilt. Pic shows both sides of those (the dark parts on the top pic are just reflections). Other ones are clean...$3, $4, and $6 each.
12 Dinner forks, 8". More used than the salad forks...$16 each, 4 for $55.
11 Salad forks, 7"...$25 each, or 4 for $85.
8 table oval/soup spoons, 7"...$15 ea. or 4 for $50.
8 teaspoons, 6 1/4". Don't know what the deal is with sold prices for these--way high to weirdly low, same with asking. Mid-$20-$30s for just as used as mine, to way higher for nicer. I'll take $24 ea, or 4 for $80.
1 Master Butter knife, 7 1/8"...$18
1 Sugar spoon, 6 1/8"...$18
1 ladle 6 3/4"...$12
1 large serving spoon, 8 1/2" (noted as 8 5/8" elsewhere, but it's NOT)...$15
1 pierced/trident/3-tine serving spoon, 8 1/2"...$10
1 cold meat serving fork, 9"...$16
Pic 4) Oneida: Toujours (Cube mark), Community Distinction, and Frostfire, all stainless steel. 14 pieces.
Toujours:
2 large serving spoons, 8 1/4"...$16 ea.
1 pierced/strainer serving spoon, 8 3/8"...$20
1 soup/gravy ladle, 6 3/4"...$15
1 pie server with serrated edge, 11". Not much to go on sales wise, so will ask...$25
Community & Frostfire:
6 Community 'Distinction' (no wings style) iced tea spoons, 7 1/2"...$2 ea., 4 for $6
3 'Frostfire' fruit/grapefruit spoons, 6"...$4 ea., all 3 for $10
