TV Show Plot For Grand
Grand is an ensemble cast comedy about the humorous trials and tribulations of life in a small company town. Tom and Carol Anne Smithson have moved to Grand Pennsylvania where Tom has a new job at the Weldon Piano Works. Soon after they settle in, Tom is fired from his job after pitching the idea of making golf clubs at the factory. Luckily, Tom's ex-boss Mr. Weldon becomes fond of Carol Anne and soon hires her to work at the factory.

Other characters in the series include: Janice Pasetti (Pamela Reed), who befriends Carol Anne.

The TV show Grand was unexpectedly cancelled by NBC after the first season finale, in which you are left believing that the whole town is wiped out by a tornado. After the show fared better than expected in the ratings, the series cast was reworked and aired for a second season late in 1990.

The Grand TV series aired a total of 25 episodes during the 1989-90 and 1990-91 seasons.
