When a lonely girl wishes a beautiful department store mannequin to life, it promises to be a Christmas to remember for her and her widower father in this touching holiday tale. With her dad's busy schedule leaving him with little time for her, 11-year-old Jessica Slocum dreads the idea of another holiday without her mother -who died years earlier. Mesmerized by the fantasy world created at the local department store, Jessica becomes obsessed with a mother/daughter mannequin display. With some magic assistance from an eccentric window dresser, Amy the mannequin steps out of her inanimate existence into the Slocums' world. As Jessica and her father both realize their love for Amy, her mystical presence brings warmth and compassion back into their home.
