Quilt Froggy's By the Hour, a crib quilt 111417Q

The name of this cute baby quilt is Froggy's By the Hour designed using two traditional quilt patterns, the 9 Patch and the Double Hourglass. The theme is frogs.

The size is 58.00in x 50.00in. This is a crib quilt but also makes a fabulous drag-along quilt for toddlers. The fabrics are 100% cotton. The batting is also 100% cotton. The fabrics were not pre-washed and the item has not been washed.

The back is a very soft flannel featuring frogs on a background of teal polka dots on white. The quilting is an edge to edge loop tee loop meander using varigated thread on the front and white thread on the back. The binding was applied using a decorative machine stitch.

They were made as a learning experience to teach myself how to make as many traditional quilt patterns as I could. I created the quilt pattern designs using traditional patterns in EQ5, 6 & 7. They have been stored in minimal light, folded on shelving in a smoke and pet free environment.
