Director: Buster Keaton; Format: VHS; Rating: NR; Release Date: 1986; Length: 56 minutes (B&W); MPN: VCC1121; Edition: Viking Video Classics; Other: Silent. Condition: Very Good. From private collection, NOT a previous rental. Cover and tape are both still in overall great shape. Same cover design as that shown here.

Synopsis:
The Paleface: Oil sharks conspire to rob the Indians of their lands. The Indian chief gives orders that the first white man to come in the gate is to be killed. Buster Keaton comes in hunting butterflies...and all sanity flies away...loads of fun.

Daydreams: A young man goes to the city to prove he can support his fiancé. Each job is announced with exaggerated claims of grandeur. An assistant in an animal clinic becomes the head of "a 200-patient clinic", a street cleaning job is an "important financial position", and a chorus job becomes the "lead in Hamlet". He finally returns home a failure and is thrown out by his future father-in-law.

The Blacksmith: An apprentice blacksmith wreaks havoc, first with the blacksmith and then with a white horse brought in for shoeing. Keaton had a visual inanity that makes every event a moment of comic genius. Just sit back and enjoy the fun.

Inquiries from all shoppers are responded to promptly and courteously. Buyers are encouraged to ask questions prior to placing orders, as all sales are final unless the product you receive differs significantly from that which was advertised here in terms of either the product itself or its promised condition. In other words, "buyer's remorse" does not qualify for a refund. Exceptions are made only in the event that a buyer is willing to return at his or her own expense an unopened, BRAND NEW item for a refund of the original purchase price only. No original shipping costs will be refunded, unless we are at fault for sending you the wrong item or misrepresenting the product and/or its condition. This hasn't happened yet, but if it does: you are guaranteed a refund of the purchase price, the original shipping fee, PLUS the cost to ship the item back to us.
