The goal of this guide is to get you up and running as quickly as possible in building your first Microsoft Access database. You'll begin by learning the various components of Microsoft Access. Then you will learn how to properly plan out your database and determine the different tables, queries, forms, and reports that you'll need. We'll go over the Microsoft Access design interface, guiding you through the following:

Building your very first table to track customers, learning about the different types of data that you can store in table fields, and about primary keys;
Entering data into your table, editing that data, and working with records;
Grouping your data;
Building a couple of different queries to display information from your tables in different ways;
Constructing a form to provide a nice user-friendly interface for working with data on the screen; and
Generating printable reports.

This guide is designed to be used with Microsoft Access 2019 or the newer version, but you shouldn't have issues if you are using older versions of Access, because these versions are all similar.
