ASPLUNDH Whisper Chipper
I have a Commercial/Heavy Duty woodchipper to sell. All the tags, id plates etc. anything of identifying nature, have been painted over. So, I can’t be positive, but I believe it is either a JEX or JEY series Asplundh Whisper Chipper. It has a Ford 6-cylinder engine powering things and it functions just as it should, extremely aggressive and powerful.
The throat chute opening to the blade drum measures 10 inches high and 12 inches wide, and I believe you could put a log that big into it. It just disintegrates everything I have fed it, in seconds. I purchased this last summer to try and do my own type of business, but I am just unable to. Has decent tires and everything seems to function as intended. Not new, pretty or fancy, but it has the muscle to do the job. I was going to try to use it more often, but it basically just sits. I can demonstrate it; I can also possibly deliver it. Asking $5000, which is all I have in it.
