PLEASE NOTE: Although I know 99.9% of true film fans don't expect perfection from vintage Vhs saves, and I'm lucky to have a first hand SP save that basically plays well ... THE NIGHT WE SAVED IT (using our vcr timer 😁) UNBEKNOWNST TO TO US, WE HAD AN INTERMITTENT/MINOR CABLE PROBLEM... and when we later watched, discovered slight music interruption w/pixelation freeze a few times AND there are also parts in film can tell areas they must have had trouble restoring, it's NOT from my end ... none of which deterred our enjoyment of this once thought lost gem... but if you're the picky-persnickety type only pleased with absolute perfection, please pass ;).

Synopsis: Legendary escape artist Harry Houdini stars in the offbeat adventure yarn The Grim Game. Houdini plays Harvey Hanford, a young journalist who is framed for the murder of his uncle. Since it was well-known that no jail cell or pair of handcuffs could hold Houdini, the film has to work overtime in building up suspense. The most memorable scene finds the great magician suspended by a rope between two flying airplanes. An unrehearsed plane crash during this sequence was captured on film and exploited to the hilt in Grim Game's publicity campaign. (amg)
