I had traded my smile…. my dreams for…
A pay cheque…. and a pretty pathetic one at that.

I spent all of my days giving time and energy to jobs that over worked and underpaid me. I had traded my time to employers who couldn't see the value I was bringing to the table.

Every family event or hang outs with friends I was never "present" and my mind was off in a distant space dwelling...

I isolated myself, diving deeper into a negative and depressed state - some days not even making it out of bed and calling in sick or that I would be late.

Drained, I day dreamed wishing I were somewhere else….

Taking month long trips to the growing list of places on my bucket list
Exploring every back road, mountain, river and ocean I could with no agenda
Relaxing on beaches and skiing in champagne powder
Spending quality time with my family and friends
Seeing myself smiling more, laughing more… enjoying life more..
... You know? Somewhere else.

So what did I do?
I accepted it.
... For a little while, at least...

Until one day I was scrolling through my photo reel on my phone and the hard reality set in that trying to find a photo of me genuinely and authentically smiling was a rarity.

That was it. One of the many line in the sand moments for me.
So then what did I do?
I created a business and traded in that pathetic pay cheque... for my dreams!

... Wait, that's possible?

Yes! And with that trade..
I am now fully present with myself, family and friends -
I am motivated and have a positive mindset.
 I Have the chance to live my daydreams in reality
I Found a way to supplement my income and am on my way to replacing it!
