Seeing that 1st class post has gotten so high, I lower the price down to $3.00 instead of charging 5.50 for 1st class, now all shipments will be sent by media mail, until the hot summer is back, than I'll go back to 1st class.

The series took place on the Supertrain, a nuclear-powered bullet train that was equipped with amenities more appropriate to a cruise ship. It had luxuries such as swimming pools and shopping centers. It was so big it had to run on very broad gauge single track (not a pair of tracks as depicted in some advertising). Though it had a rated top speed of 190 mph, the train took 36 hours to go from New York City to Los Angeles, which would put the train's average speed at around 78 miles per hour, slower than the moderately paced AMTRAK Acela and well below the speeds of bullet trains in Europe and Asia. (Some episodes state, however, that the train also stops in Chicago, Denver, a (mythical) town in Texas and presumably other cities, which would extend the length of the run and thus would require faster speeds.) Much like its contemporary The Love Boat, the plots concerned the passengers' social lives, usually with multiple intertwining storylines. Most of the cast of a given episode were guest stars. The production was elaborate, with huge sets and a high-tech model train for outside shots.

Set has all 9 episodes that were produced and all the episodes are uncut, except for 2 episodes, which only are missing the ending credits. The reason why I know the episodes are uncut is because the Caribbean Super Station episodes had there commercial breaks at the exact same spot as the NBC episodes and they also had the exact number of breaks as the NBC episodes and the running time for those 3 NBC episodes I also have, 2 of them were the same title episodes that aired on the Caribbean Super Station telecast and those 2 same NBC episodes had the exact same running time, (with the ads removed) were the same running time as the Caribbean Super Station episodes broadcast. This series, I didn't record a single episode of it, I made my first trade for this series in the year 2000 for all but one episode that the trader didn't have, the episodes were shown on the Caribbean Super Station in Aruba and they televised the episodes uncut. I found the one episode I was missing from another trader, who also had another episode also, both episodes were the original NBC telecast. Than I found a a 3rd trader who had a NBC episode (WOC) complete with all the commercials intact, nothing missing for the complete hour long telecast, which happen to be the only NBC episode I did not used it for this set, because the Caribbean Super Station episodes had better quality. Finally after having searching for better quality episodes, I found a trader who had the pilot and claim it had unbelievable quality, so I traded with him and I already at the time own the commercial release video, but when I got the DVD from that trader, I couldn't believe how great the quality was, it was even better than the original commercial VHS release, probably because the commercial release video was recorded at the LP (4 hr. speed) and the trader tape had far better quality. So because of that, I asked him if he would be interested in trading for his master video seeing that it was better than the commercial release tape and it was too uncut, the exact same running time, so I was able to come up with a trade with that trader, which cost me over $100.00 worth of stuff, which I had to trade in order to get his original master video recording and I could tell that it was the original 1st generation recordings, now that I have all the episodes on video tapes, if I ever had to make another master disc because a bad spot turn up in one of my original master DVD recorders, I could easily make another master DVD disc seeing that I have the master recording of the pilot also and it's 1st generation.

The quality isn't that great on all of the other episodes, I'm guessing they are 3rd or 4th video generation copies, but the pilot has UNBELIEVABLE QUALITY, I don't think you could find any better quality of the pilot that's in this set anywhere on the Internet, which is why I selling this set for a little more than usual for a 3 DVD set, the pilot itself is well worth the $20.00, but I'm charging it for the complete series. The reason why I took so long to offer it up for sale was because of the quality, but I know it a very rare series to find, that why I finally decided to sell the complete series, instead of just offering the pilot only for sale for the last few years. I know, I paid over $50.00 to buy the commercial VHS release of the pilot - Express to Terror and that was more than 7+ years ago and I'm not even using that commercial release video for this set, I ended selling that video for more than $50.00 myself, that's because the one I got from the trader has far better quality, I'm very picking when I have 2 copies of something, I check them both out and use the best one, where as the commercial release video of the pilot was recorded at the LP (4 hour) speed and the one I used was recorded at the SP (2 hour) speed with better overall quality. I never had a single complaint on this series, which I have sold a lot of them at all of the auction sites I sell at.

All discs have interactive menus, making it easy to watch a certain episode.

When I dub my video recordings to DVD, I make sure it's the best possible playback, that includes if necessary, adjusting the tape guide roller to improve the tracking, after all these are my master recordings. First the recording is recorded to the DVD hard-drive at the XP (1-hour) speed, then the commercials are edited out perfectly, then record onto DVD at the flexible speed, thereby using the complete disc, unlike most seller who have to use a certain speed, I have never recorded anything at a certain speed, all recordings are recorded at the flexible speed. Unlike other sellers, if a master disc develops a bad spot, which has happen a few times to me, I can always make a new master, because I have the original recordings for all of my items for sale. I remember buying from a seller on a different site, and 1 disc had a bad spot, that seller sent me 2 replacements, each time the replacement sent had the exact same bad spot in the exact place, that seller didn't have the original recording to make a new one, something to think about when buying rare old TV recordings.

Don't be fooled, by other seller's, claiming theirs are uncut or that they have excellent quality, I've bought some series from other sellers, claiming very good quality, only to find out they had terrible quality, I couldn't believe they had the nerve to sell such poor quality. My prices are high, because they are rare, 1st generation recordings, not many people, had a VCR back in the late 70's were expensive. I bought my first VCR in 1979, costing me over $1200, that's 1979 dollars, that is why, all of my listings, are the original network broadcast and 1st generation. When the first MTS stereo VCR recorder came on the market in 1985, I bought one immediately, which is why my series are in stereo too, I doubt other sellers can say that, Like the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.

Ask any and all questions up front, once you buy it, that's it. Copying is too easy, these days. I offer no refunds, but will happily replace any faulty disc.
