I personally recorded this series, when it originally aired on FOX-TV stereo broadcast back in 1997-1998, all episodes are UNCUT . When I dub my video recordings to DVD, I make sure it's the best possible playback, that includes if necessary, adjusting the tape guide roller to improve the tracking, after all these are my master recordings. Unlike other sellers, if a master disc develops a bad spot, which has happen a few times to me, I can always make a new master, because I have the original recordings for all of my items for sale. I remember buying from a seller on a different site, and 1 disc had a bad spot, that seller sent me 2 replacements, each time the replacement sent had the exact same bad spot in the exact place, that seller didn't have the original recording to make a new one, something to think about when buying rare old TV recordings.



Fifty years prior to the outset of this show, Adam MacArthur is abducted by aliens in the Bermuda Triangle during World War II. Upon his escape and subsequent return to Earth, he finds that not only is he still the young man he was 50 years before, but he also has special powers. During his abduction, aliens managed to tap into a largely unused portion of his brain which left Adam with the power to heal and bring people back to life. He also acquired a number of other strange abilities.In the series, he claims that all people have the power to do this but simply don't know how. Most episodes see Adam travelling America and making the lives of people better by using both his deductive reasoning and his special powers. He's driven by what he feels to be a quest to change the lives of strangers.Adam used a small ship to travel back to Earth and continues to use the ship for travel purposes using a device the size of a television remote to control it. When not in use, Adam hides his ship from view during most episodes.A Colonel from the U.S. Army, James Vise, is concerned about Adam's presence on Earth. He spends most episodes attempting to capture what he perceives to be a threat to U.S. security. FBI agents Van Patten, Wilcox, and Larue are also after Adam; however, they don't see him as a threat, but rather want to question him about his disappearance. They often clash with Vise's group. Adam is also being chased by otherworldly forces. Apparently, the aliens abducted a few humans as part of an experiment; Adam being one of them. Since Adam's escape back to Earth, the aliens are attempting to track him down in order to resume their tests.In the end, Adam convinces his "abductors" that he has a mission to complete on Earth and thus is given the opportunity to save mankind. Vise, who was killed during his struggle capturing Adam, is revived by the one who he saw as a threat and is saved by him. Adam convinces him to find another purpose in his second chance in life. However, the ending is somewhat open because after Vise's "death", new questions rise. In addition, FBI agents Van Patten, Wilcox, and Larue are reassigned (or forced to resign) after the trio's encounter with Adam and Vise.As a show where the main character is travelling to different locations in each episode, the show doesn't feature a large cast of primary characters. Similarly to shows like the X-Files, most episodes feature a supporting cast that appears for just a single scene.




For the best quality, 3 episodes per disc, except disc 2 which has 4 episodes, all discs were recorded at the flexible speed, a little bit slower than the 2 hour speed (SP), more like the 2:15:00 speed, that way the complete disc is used, for the time allotted, for the best possible quality, making this a 4 discs set. The discs comes in DVD paper window sleeves, the discs comes without labels or artwork, because labels on discs can cause the disc to play improperly over time, all of my DVDs are in the DVD-R, NTSC format (USA), so please make sure, your player will play them.



When I dub my video recordings to DVD, I make sure it's the best possible playback, that includes if necessary, adjusting the tape guide roller to improve the tracking, after all these are my master recordings. First the recording is recorded to the DVD hard-drive at the XP (1-hour) speed, then the commercials are edited out perfectly, then record onto DVD at the flexible speed, thereby using the complete disc, unlike most seller who have to use a certain speed, I have never recorded anything at a certain speed, all recordings are recorded at the flexible speed. Unlike other sellers, if a master disc develops a bad spot, which has happen a few times to me, I can always make a new master, because I have the original recordings for all of my items for sale. Don't be fooled, by other seller's, claiming theirs are uncut or that they have excellent quality, I've bought some series from other sellers, claiming very good quality, only to find out they had terrible quality, I couldn""t believe they had the nerve to sell such poor quality. My prices are high, because they are rare, 1st generation recordings, not many people, had a VCR back in the late 70's. I bought my first VCR in 1979, costing me over $1200, that""s 1979 dollars, that is why, all of my listings, are the original network broadcast and 1st generation. When the first MTS stereo VCR recorder came on the market in 1985, I bought one immediately, which is why my series are in stereo too, I doubt other seller""s can say that, Like the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.



Ask any and all questions up front, once you buy it, that's it. Copying is too easy, these days. I offer no refunds, but will happily replace any faulty disc.



Because the US post office raised their rates for international post on 1/27/2013, you'll need to email me for the charge, because it was an outrageous increase, almost by a 100% increase and the postal service continues to raise their int'l. rates every year about 10%, which now the postal service just raised there int'l. rates again during May 2015 by .22 cents for within the USA and .75 cents for int;l post, which is why I just raised the s/h charge by .25 cents to cover the cost of the increase. Also Paypal in May 2014 raised the fees on int'l. payments because of the increase in the currency rate exchange, so if there is a defective disc(s) (INTERNATIONAL BUYERS ONLY ON REPLACEMENT DISC(S) NEEDING TO BE REPLACE) you will also have to pay the shipping and Paypal fee charge for any replacement disc(s) that will need to be sent because just for the first level on the postage only for int'l post, the cost is more than $7.00 for the first 2 ounces sent on a package, which you can only send 2 disc at the first int'l. level, with DVDs being sent in a large envelope which is consider a package, that's because the envelope is rigid with the DVDs in them and a large envelope can not be rigid. Money order or Paypal only.
