Aaron Putnam
Aaron Putnam is an American stand-up comedian and podcaster. He honed his skills on the improv stage at the Upright Citizens Brigade in New York City, specifically at the original 26th Street location. Aaron has had the honor of opening for several of his comedy heroes, including Robert Kelly, Rich Vos, Bonnie MacFarlane, Doug Stanhope, and many others.

He proudly considers the Laugh Factory Chicago his home club, where he performs regularly and has headlined venues across the country. Known for being disarmingly funny and charming, Aaron draws inspiration from his real-life experiences and his upbringing in Detroit, Michigan.

Additionally, Aaron is the founder of Stand-Up in Recovery, an initiative that brings stand-up comedy to treatment centers for young teens and adults facing challenges with addiction. He regards these shows as the greatest accomplishments of his stand-up career. Aaron has performed at numerous comedy festivals, including the Del Close Marathon and Skankfest Vegas.

The Nick Wilson Foundation

The Nick Wilson Foundation supports individuals and families impacted by addiction by bridging the gap between treatment, recovery, and long-term hope.

No parent ever expects their child to leave this earth before them. It’s a wound that never truly heals.

Our founder, Shelly Vivirito, knows this pain firsthand. Her son, Nick, was amazing — funny, smart, and kind — and for years he battled depression and addiction. After achieving 10 months of sobriety, thanks in part to the team at Harris House and Learn to Live Recovery, Nick tragically passed away from a massive brain bleed in 2022.

Before leaving us, Nick became a mentor and friend to many on their own path toward recovery. He always looked for ways to give back, lift others up, and offer the support he once needed.

Even though Nick is no longer with us, his foundation continues his mission — helping men and women access resources, find community, and move from addiction to recovery with dignity and hope.
