All the episodes are the original ABC-TV 1980 Broadcast, which is when I recorded them back in 1980, ALL OF THE EPISODES ARE UNCUT. Every episode has the Galactica 1980 title in the opening credit, instead of having Battlestar Galactica for the title, making you think it's the 2nd season of Battlestar Galactica, but it was a spin-off series of and the episodes have the Battlestar Galactica for the title of the series, which is how it's seen in syndication, only the 1980 broadcast has the correct Galactica 1980 title for the series, which is what I recorded and the quality is excellent. On the multi-part episodes, there is only one opening and closing credit, I edited the parts together where it said, "to be continue" and started recording the second part when it started, making it looking like it was a 2 hour broadcast, that is how I originally recorded it back in 1980 and disc 1 has only the 3 part pilot episodes on it, also with only one opening and closing credit, videos were very expensive, by todays value of a dollar the first video would of cost over $50.00 and the second video would of cost over $60.00, that because they started selling High Grade videotapes and both tapes were the Maxell brand and those tapes were even more heavy than the videos that were being sold in the 21st century.

For the best quality, I only put 3 episodes on each disc, except for disc 4, which only has 1 episode and the TV movie, Conquest on the Earth and all of the discs were recorded at the flexible speed, a little bit slower than the 2 hour speed (SP), more like the 2:15:00 or less speed, because most of the episodes were multi part episodes, no compression loss on any of the episodes on the discs, that way the complete disc is used, for the time allotted for each disc, for the best possible quality, making this a 4 discs set. The discs comes in DVD paper window sleeves, the discs comes without labels or artwork, because labels on discs can cause the disc to play improperly over time, all of my DVDs are in the DVD-R, NTSC format (USA), so please make sure, your player will play them.

All discs have interactive menus, making it easy to watch a certain episode.

When I dub my video recordings to DVD, I make sure it's the best possible playback, that includes if necessary, adjusting the tape guide roller to improve the tracking, after all these are my master recordings. First the recording is recorded to the DVD hard-drive at the XP (1-hour) speed, then the commercials are edited out perfectly, then record onto DVD at the flexible speed, thereby using the complete disc, unlike most seller who have to use a certain speed, I've never recorded anything at a certain speed, all recordings are recorded at the flexible speed. Unlike other sellers, if a master disc develops a bad spot, which has happen a few times to me, I can always make a new master, because I have the original recordings for all of my items for sale. I remember buying from a seller on a different site, and 1 disc had a bad spot, that seller sent me 2 replacements, each time the replacement sent had the exact same bad spot in the exact place, that seller didn't have the original recording to make a new one, something to think about when buying rare old TV recordings.

Don't be fooled, by other seller's, claiming theirs are uncut or that they have excellent quality, I've bought some series from other sellers, claiming very good quality, only to find out they had terrible quality, I couldn't believe they had the nerve to sell such poor quality. My prices are high, because they are rare, 1st generation recordings, not many people, had a VCR back in the late 70's. I bought my first VCR in 1979, costing me over $1200, that's 1979 dollars, that is why, all of my listings, are the original network broadcast and 1st generation. When the first MTS stereo VCR recorder came on the market in 1985, I bought one immediately, which is why my series are in stereo too, I doubt other sellers can say that, Like the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.

Ask any and all questions up front, once you buy it, that's it. Copying is too easy, these days. I offer no refunds, but will happily replace any faulty disc.

This series is being offered on a collector basics only, to share in the enjoyment of this cancelled Short-Lived television series.

I AM A COLLECTOR OF MADE FOR TV MOVIES, TV SERIES AND HARD TO FIND MOVIES. I CHARGE A FAIR PRICE FOR QUALITY MERCHANDISE, IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANYTHING I NEED FOR TRADE!

My service is meant to offer rare, not commercially available and hard to find films or TV shows to those looking for them for their own home viewing pleasure ONLY. No profit is made from my trading and is done only for my enjoyment, to help out others and the chance to expand my own collection. This site is not for commercial use.

ALL FUNDS MADE ON THESE DVD'S ARE ONLY USED FOR MAINTAINING MY EQUIPMENT: DISCS, PAPER SLEEVES, TRAVEL TO THE POST OFFICE, AUCTION HOUSE FEES, PACKING & MY TIME AND EFFORT TO CREATE THE DVD'S ON A COLLECTOR TO COLLECTOR BASICS, NONPROFIT, NONCOMMERCIAL, PRIVATE TRADES & TRANSFERS AS PER ORDER, WHICH LEAVES THE REST OF THE FUNDS GOES DIRECTLY TO SAVING FERAL KITTENS AND ALSO PREVENTING THEM FROM EVER BEING BORN BY HAVING ANY FERAL/STRAY FEMALE CATS SPAYED THAT I HAD SAW IN MY TRAILER PARK SPAYED, SO FAR I HAVE EASILY PREVENTED OVER A 1,000 KITTENS FROM EVER BEING BORN AND THE FIRST YEAR I STARTED SAVING FERAL KITTENS, I CAUGHT 41 FERAL KITTENS THAT YEAR, THAT WHY I TRY TO GET THEM SPAYED BEFORE THEY END UP WITH KITTENS, SEEING THAT I HAVE ALWAYS LEAVE FOOD AND WATER OUTSIDE FOR THE FERAL/STRAY CATS TO EAT AND I KNOW WHEN THERE IS A LITTER OF KITTENS, BECAUSE THERE IS ALWAYS A LOT OF FOOD ON THE GROUND WHEN KITTENS ARE EATING THE FOOD AND ONCE I KNOW OF A LITTER I CAUGHT THEM AND THAN DOMESTICATE THEM AND THAN FIND THEM LOVING CARING HOMES FOR THE ONCE FERAL KITTENS THAT I HAD CAPTURE WHEN THEY WERE LESS THAN A MONTH OLD, WHICH IS THE ONLY REASON WHY i'M OFFERING COPIES OF MY RARE RECORDINGS, OTHERWISE i WOULDN'T BE WASTING MY TIME OFFERING COPIES OF MY RARE RECORDINGS FROM MY VIDEO LIBRARY THAT I'VE BEEN RECORDING CLOSE TO 40 YEARS NOW AND NOT TO MAKE FOR MYSELF.

Almost all of the shows listed here were recorded personally by me, they are 1st generation, except for an occasional episode on a series and also almost everything listed are the original network telecast not a syndication release were those episodes are cut to make room for more commercials, unless otherwise indicated. I bought my first VCR back in 1979 and when the first MTS broadcast stereo record VCR came out in 1986, I'd immediately bought it, at that time it was the only model that had the MTS broadcast record, all other VCRs that were in stereo could only play videotapes in stereo, they couldn't record the stereo broadcasts that's because there was only one model that had the MTS broadcast record feature, which was made by Mitsubishi. In 1988 I bought the very best Super VHS VCR that was ever made, JVC HR-S8000U and used that VCR on most of my recordings after buying it, to this day, it still the best VCR that was ever made. Like the old saying goes, you get what you pay for! When making my masters DVD-R recordings from my video tapes, I make sure it has the best possible playback, that even means if necessary, adjusting the tape guide roller to improve on the tracking the tape out further, after all these are for my master DVD recordings collection I'm making, so I want the best possible quality that I can get from my video recordings. First I record the video recording that I want recorded to my DVD hard-drive at the XP (1-hour) speed, there's no compression loss recording at that speed and then the commercials would be perfectly edited out on the hard-drive recordings, then playlists would be made with the commercials edited out, sometimes it could take me more than 20 min. for an episode to get a perfect edit job and then those playlists (episodes) would then be recorded onto DVD-R discs using the variable speed, thereby the entire disc for the time allotted is used, unlike most seller who have to record at a certain record speed, thereby leaving 1/3 or more of the disc not being used, just look at other sellers discs on the recorded side, you see that some of the disc was never used. I've never recorded any of my recordings at a certain set speed, all of my recordings are recorded at the variable speed. Also unlike other sellers, if a master disc develops a bad spot, which has happen a few times to me on my masters, I can always make a new master disc, because I have the original recordings for all of my items for sale. I remember buying from a seller on a different site and 1 disc had a bad spot, that seller sent me 2 replacements of those bad discs and each replacement that was sent had the exact same bad spot, in the exact same place, that's because they didn't have the original recording to make a new one, unlike where I can make a new master disc when a disc develops a problem.

You understand that these trades or donations are collector to collector and any incidental costs that may be involved are not for profit, but for accumulated costs involved in the process required. All charges placed on the reproduction of any and all video footage are attached to the time, materials, machine wear & tear and shipping & packaging and whatever is left over goes to saving feral kittens and preventing them from ever being born, which is the ONLY reason why I'm offering copies of my rare recording, otherwise I wouldn't be wasting my time offering copies my rare recordings from my video library that I've been recording over the past 30 years+.

PLEASE NO SALES TO OTHER SELLERS (UNLESS APPROVED BY ME AHEAD OF TIME). TOO MANY SELLERS BUY ITEMS ONLY TO TURN AROUND AND COPY AND SELL FOR THEIR OWN PROFIT (USUALLY AT A LESSER PRICE). SOME OF THESE ITEMS ARE VERY HARD TO COME BY AND I WORK HARD TO GET THEM, SOMETIMES SPENDING A LOT OF TIME MAKING MY MASTER DISCS, AFTER ALL I AM THE ONE THAT DID ORIGINALLY RECORDED THESE SHOWS, BECAUSE MOST ARE MY OWN PERSONAL RECORDINGS, AND I TAKE A LOT OF TIME TO EDIT THE COMMERCIALS OUT OF, ETC. THIS ALSO INCLUDES USING ANOTHER MEMBER I.D. YOU MAY HAVE OR HAVING ANOTHER HOUSEHOLD MEMBER PURCHASE!!
