This amazing oak store counter has the last patent date of 1914 on the brass plaque along with the counter's serial number. A serial number on a piece of furniture! The counter is thirteen feet long. The clerk's side has nine small drawers, six large drawers, and three tilting bins for bulk goods such as prunes or brown sugar. The front has twenty-one small display windows and six large display windows. The shallow windows on the front would have contained samples of products such as beans, grains, and candies which the store had for sale. This counter is in excellent condition and rock solid! This could not be built today for $2000.00. Imagine this in your retail store – coffee shop, bakery, clothing store, book store....
