Parents of students entering High School or those already enrolled. I’m a credentialed teacher in California with years of English Language Arts experience offering an opportunity for all students to learn how to write well.

I will prepare your child for SAT and ACT exams, college application essays, and various styles of writing needed for high school, including compare and contrast, persuasive, narrative and argumentative. These writing abilities will serve your student for the remainder of their academic lives, not only in English class. With this course of instruction, your high school student will be provided the building blocks to help them take on any type of writing assignment with confidence. Those who struggle with motivation or who have difficulty finding the right words, as well as students entering the realm of Advanced Placement classes, will increase their skill level and be well prepared for the upcoming school year and beyond.

Additionally, for those students who enjoy creative writing, I’m offering instruction on outlining and how to write short stories. It is a great outlet for any high school student!

All courses are limited to five students, including individual sessions on Fridays. Cost is $200 per week of instruction or $300 for two weeks. Dates and times are as follows:

June 15-19, July 13-17, August 3-7
Skilled Writing Course from 9am - 11am
Creative Writing Course from 2pm – 4pm
