OVERVIEW:
Weight restrictions - For ALL light cranes up to 8-tons in Alberta (that is the weight restriction set out by the apprenticeship board in AB.)
Crane Types:
- Knuckle Boom (HIAB, Palfinger, Fassi, etc.)
- Carry Deck Cranes (Up to 9-tons IC80)
- Mechanics service corner mount cranes
- Spyder cranes
Certification provided - 3-year renewable, wallet card and certificate are sent 24-hours after training to you for your records and printing. We do not charge for lost or misplaced certs as you will have the file on hand.
End of day summary - we provide a PDF copy to you for your files, a training summary (photos, etc.), many companies also provide this to their customers as proof of training, etc.
Crane specific pre-use checklist - Insurance, OHS as well as regulations state must be used prior to shift or use of crane. You get this in an editable word document for your records/files.
Factory Trained Instructor (Me) - I have been trained at the following factories: HIAB, Palfinger and Fassi cranes.
COURSE OUTLINE:
3.5 hour morning theory session (Standards, regulations, insurance, crane layout load chart, stabilizer pad types, ground support, etc.)
Afternoon practical evaluation - we use a series of pylons without weight as the obstacle course itself is a challenge and we evaluate the operator based on 3 core competencies learned in the AM theory.
PRICING:
$ TBA per operator (minimum of 4)
$ TBA flat rate travel fee from Edmonton (not per person, just a flat fee, one way only).
PAYMENT:
We send you or appointed an e-Invoice that can be paid securely, directly online. Payment upon receipt of invoice.
