Magnificent recording of George Frideric Handel's 1753 opera seria, considered one of his best works. Recorded live at the Paris Opera (Palais Garnier), France. Cast includes Renee Fleming in the title role, along with Susan Graham, Natalie Dessay, Kathleen Kuhlmann, Timothy Robinson, Laurent Naoui, and Janita Lacarro. Conducted by William Christie with his brilliant Baroque ensemble, Les Arts Florissants. Original packaging, complete with libretto booklet.
