Wouldn't it be great if your 110v Zivan NG3 could be plugged into any ordinary 15 Ampere (15A) electric outlet? Also, by charging more often, your batteries will last much longer -- as much as 5X longer! Don't believe that? Check out the battery manufacturers' Depth-of-Discharge charts, and you'll see what I mean.

Ask yourself this: What is the replacement cost of my electric vehicle's batteries? About $3,000?

By charging more often, you'll also get more range -- you'll drive your EV further.

How to Extend the Driving Range of an Electric Vehicle

You are bidding on a photo access (All Rights Reserved) and telephone consultation that will allow you to plug the 110V Zivan NG3 into a 15A electric outlet. It will not affect your charger's ability to plug into your special 20A-22A outlet that is specified by the Zivan factory.

Warning: The Zivan battery charger can destroy a batteries by "cooking" them. This problem is intermittent! Check my other listings for the "workaround" to this battery-killing mystery.

In addition to my information, you will also need to purchase, at your own expense, $70 worth of electric equipment. You will also need to change your thinking about your batteries and your personal charging method. (If you are somewhat careless or uncaring about batteries, this listing is probably not for you.)

The Zivan battery charger (NG1, NG3) is the most popular brand of controllers for electric scooters, electric motorcycles, electric cars, golf carts, fork lifts and other electric vehicles.

ANECDOTE: In 1999, my life was affected by a book titled, "Divorce Your Car" written by a woman living in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Because of her book, I got rid of my gasser car at the time and got some electric bikes and a scooter (popular with Google founders and Spielberg.) That was the beginning of my hobby of battery-powered transportation. In the small town in Michigan, population 1,500 folks, there were at least three electric scooters. The Currie Flyer scooter impressed me with its ability to climb up a fairly steep hill. Dr. Malcolm Currie, who designed these scooters, retired from designing army tanks and put his talent into zero-emission vehicles. I now owned about ten electric bikes, scooters, and never bought another gasser since. Learned a lot from trouble-shooting, modding, and re-working those electric scooters.
