This is a lovely strand of natural jade beads in varying shades of green. The metal components are a matte gold plate that complements the stone. Jade ioccurs in nature in all colors including varying shades of green. It goes from translucent to opaque. While these beads are all a medium green color, each varies slightly from the other in shade and opacity. This variety gives the necklace more visual interest than a matched strand would have. It reminds me of spring trees when the bud in spring. The necklace measures 24" in length and has a snap ring closure the jade beads measure 7mm.
