Quilt Obsession In Roses and Mystic Floral Pet Spread 051313Q

The name of the quilt is Obsession in Roses and the Pet Spread is named Mystic Floral both designed using the technique by Jane Hardy Miller from her book called French Braid Obsession by C&T Publications.

(NOTE: If you're a quilter and would like to make the French Braid don't buy the book from C&T. Get the Quilt in a Day version of French Braid instead.)

Size of the quilt is 78.00in x 54.00in. Fits the top of a twin bed. No overhang. The size of the pet spread is 71" x 21" The fabrics are 100% cotton and the batting in the quilt is100% cotton Natures' Touch brand. There is no batting in the pet spread. It's just the pieced front and fabric back. The fabrics were not pre-washed and the item has not been washed.

The quilting is an edge to edge meander in a dark burgundy thread, front and back. The pet spread was quilted in burgundy thread in a scribble stitch. Just roaming of the fabric.

I am a long time sewer, crafter, quilter who can't sew much after breaking my wrist with the result being severe nerve damage. The quilts are unused, unwashed. They were made as a learning experience to teach myself how to make as many traditional quilt patterns as I could. They have been stored in minimal light, folded on shelving in a smoke and pet free environment.
