The name of this quilt is Country Kitten Scratching up the White House Steps designed using two traditional quilt patterns. White House Steps and The Presidential Armchair.

Two matching Decorator Pillowcases are included.

The size is 66.00in x 56.00in. The fabrics are 100% cotton The batting is 50% bamboo and 50% cotton. This batting is wonderfully soft and has natural antibacterial qualities to it. Bedbugs hate it. The fabrics were not pre-washed and the article has not been washed.

The backing is from two fabrics, the Country Kitten Patchwork fabric and a really soft bright red flannel. This flannel reminds me of santa's soft red suit. EXTREME caution must be used during the first washing of this quilt because of the red flannel. To minimize shrinkage and color bleeding use a product called Color Catcher and wash in cool water with no dryer. Lay flat to dry.

The quilting is an edge to edge all over loop tee loop pattern using dark red thread on both sides. The binding on this quilt was made using a "self binding" technique. The excess fabric from the back was folded to the front to create the binding. It was machine sewn on the front.
