Quilt Sewing Creates Patches of Hope 021505Q

The name of this quilt is Sewing Creates Patches of Hope designed using two traditional quilt patterns, Bright Hopes and Becky's Nine Patch. The theme is sewing and the colors are bright and cheerful.

The size is 68.00" x 60.00". This size is commonly called a sofa or lap quilt or a throw quilt. It fits just the top of a double bed but does not cover the pillows.

The fabrics are 100% cotton. the batting is 100% natural cotton Pellon brand. The fabrics were not pre-washed and the item has not been washed.

The backing is flannel in a fun circle print in bright colors. The quilting was done in yellow thread in a loop tee loop edge to edge meander. The binding was applied by machine using a decorative stitch.

I am not a business. I am a long time sewer, crafter, quilter who can't sew much after breaking my wrist with the result being severe nerve damage. The quilts are unused, unwashed. They were made as a learning experience to teach myself how to make as many traditional quilt patterns as I could. I created the quilt pattern designs using traditional patterns in EQ5, 6 & 7. They have been stored in minimal light, folded on shelving in a smoke and pet free environment.
